Japanese flower arranging has been part of the culture for 700 years. Japanese flower arranging is an art that involves thinking about every aspect of how the flowers and leaves are placed. Japanese take care of a Ikebana with so much care such as placing their branches beautifully.

 

Temples in Japan

There are loads of peaceful temples in Japan. Buddhist temples attract many people to pray in them.In Japanese Hondo Kondo and Mutseden mean the main halls of the Temple. Due to Buddist tradition, the temple bell  is rung 108 times on new years eve. Even though Tokyo is a modern city,  Kyoto has 2000 temples.Temples are where the Buddhist people come to pray.

This is the Hase Kannon Temple which is very famous in Japan.

Theatre

Japanese theatre is very traditional. It is popular for its amazing acting. Japans most accomplished and oldest talent is musical theatre. Since it is a form is singing ,dancing and musical accompaninent, it just great to watch. Most of the lead actors wear embroided silk and hand-made wooden masks. Bunraku is an ancient puppet theatre that still goes on today. It is performed with narrative singing and music, as well as being played on a shimisen. They use one and a half sized puppets and it has 1 principal operator and 2 assistants to help out. Classic niusie came from the west of Japan. It is when pianists and violiInists perform around the world.

Japanese tea ceremonies

Green tea  is a popular and traditional drink in Japan. Not only do the Japanese drink green tea but they also have tea ceremonies, which are highly structured forms of art. They require knowledge, sensitivity and an appreciation of nature.

Festivals

In Japan there are many festivals.Therefore Japan is a busy country.While many festivals are being held it means there is lots of floats and decorations being pulled through the town.Also there are  many fireworks which light up the sky.Fireworks are used in festivals to giveaway evil spirits.Each float is followed by traditional drums and dancers.Tenjinn Matsuri is ranked as one of Japans third greatest festivals. Tenjinn Matsuri is the world’s greatest boat festival. It is a summer festival held at the Tenman shrine, dedicated to the patron god of learning and art.
